Amorphous - Moth Metaphor (CD)

After appearing on a series of high-quality cyber-electro-industrial music releases by labels as Semantics Productions and Wave Records, the name AMORPHOUS has become well known to all fans of the authentic Dark Electro / EBM. It is evident that such a complex, detailed, ominous, gloomy sounds, composed at the top notch electronic production, would hardly be created by just a newcomer - and this is absolutely true. As a matter of fact, the Brazilian electronic producer Gil OS has been active in a diversity of electronic music genres and projects since the early nineties of the last century. Gil OS was the mastermind of the famous MORGUE MECHANISM project, which was one of the pioneers of Industrial / EBM in South America, member of the cult German label Off Beat. Gil OS has been living in the UK for several years, where he founded AMORPHOUS - a project of dark, atmospheric, multi-layered and absolutely uncompromising electro-industrial music.

“Moth Metaphor” is the third album of AMORPHOUS and it can be described as the most mature, inspired and technically polished release of the project, it is a combination of pretty rough-sounding and noisy industrial dance tracks, atmospheric and dark soundscapes full of samples and tape loop, which is demanded for all fans of the “old-school” electro-industrial / EBM and such projects as FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, VELVET ACID CHRIST, FIX8: SED8, FULL CONTACT 69, CRYO, etc. The CD-version of “Moth Metaphor” has been released exclusively by Razgrom Music as a limited edition of 300 copies and includes three additional bonus tracks.
