Autogen is the most recent project of Kaspars Kalniņš, who has been an active musician for 20 years now. Kaspars is also known for his former band Rosewater and being an active force in the Latvian industrial scene in terms of promotion and management. Since 2008, Autogen is his main musical objective, mixing intelligently sculpted electronica and lush atmospheres with strong post-industrial influences.
In 2012 the debut album "Mutagen” was published by 4iB Records. The follow-up is a collection of rather aggressive and dance floor orientated material of his, with pieces ranging from rhythmic noise to technoid and tribal industrial.
