With “Promises of Hope and Fear” Vain Sacrosanct & van der Goes together known as Causenation present their debutalbum. Founded in 2015 by Vain Sacrosanct, Causenation is influenced by the crop of Belgian EBM & Electro, going from Neon Judgement over Vomito Negro to Absolute Body Control.
3 years in the making the album shows all these influences and more. The album was preceded by no less than 7 singles and remix EPs. Letting their songs being remixed by other people let them meet other people, learn their tricks and infuse them into the album.
Mix and mastering duties were fulfilled by Istvan Gazdag from First Aid 4 Souls. If you're a fan of all aforementioned artists, but also Covenant or even Front Line Assembly you will surely dig this album.
