Ductape, the post-punk/darkwave duo from Istanbul gained a great popularity far across the borders of Turkey and delivered their second full length album in January 2022. Here now finally the Vinyl Edition of this memorable album.
Translated from Turkish, “Ruh” means the “inner spirit/soul. The 8-track album brings Ductape's Dark and chaotic sound to an even more tense feeling with a pinch of attitude. As melancholy vibrates through the “inner spirit”, listeners meet minimalistic, energetic yet ferocious guitars accompanied by darker and colder vocals. On the third song of the album “Kesik”, successful Turkish musician Brek compliments the
unyielding guitars with his agonizing voice.
