The Paris-based project enters 2026 with its first full-length album. Behind the name 'Contre Soirée' stands Olivier Decodts, who handled all compositions, lyrics, production, instruments, and vocals on this debut album.

Following the split EP 'Nuit' with Blind Delon on Veyl in 2021, Contre Soirée made numerous stage appearances over the past years, developing his concept of energetic dark wave and post-punk guitars. The eleven-track collection covers the full range of his music. Tracks like 'Welcome to You', 'We Die Alone', or 'Waste of Time' represent the more electro/darkwave-dominated side of the project, while 'Lights Off (feat. Blind Delon)', 'I Never Wanted to Let You Burn', or 'I Love You' are more post-punk oriented. A complete debut album for fans of current darkwave and post-punk.
