Belorussian band COSMOPOLITE is pleased to announce their long-awaited album «HYPNO». The band was founded in 2009 by Belarusian musician Egor Strazhevich (vocals, music, lyrics), Ukrainian musical talent Vladimir Gubarenko a.k.a. V2G (music), as well as another Belarusian musician with Polish roots, Stanislav Shipitsyn (vocals, lyrics).
The goal was not to confine the album to strict stylistic boundaries of a single musical direction. Here, an organic blend of styles such as synthpop, industrial, new age, dubstep, as well as classic and alternative rock can be found. Through a combination of different musical styles, we are able to create our original sound, to give songs a more expressive atmosphere, to maximally convey the entire range of feelings described in the release, and the presence of a melodic vocal line adds a romantic touch.
