Curtain - Spiral / Limited Black Edition

Formed in the 2000s, Parisian band Curtain is one of the ambassadors of the French cold music movement, alongside bands such as Corpus Delicti, Martin Dupont, Little Nemo, and Guerre Froide, with whom they have shared the stage recently. They have released several LPs and EPs over the years; the last one – 'Between Us' – was released in 2024 on Manic Depression.

Curtain's unique style is expressed through danceable and powerful rhythms, syncopated and melodic bass lines, highly personal guitar sounds and riffs, original synth samples, and expressive, intense vocals. Their new album 'Spiral' – which is also their first-ever vinyl release – includes 9 tracks and is a blend of melodic 'touching pop', dark electro, post-punk, and indie rock. The singles 'Mother' and the very DAF-inspired 'Fire', released a few months ago, highlight the beginning of this new chapter.
