Rock Realm - Motif and Tempo

On their sixth studio album 'Motiv und Tempo', Felsenreich once again adds a new musical facet to their body of work while remaining true to themselves. Following the opulent albums of their early years, the band (Sohn, Schaller, Wesely) focuses this time on more straightforward song structures, some of which are reminiscent of post-punk or wave – all without sacrificing the distinctive, memorable melodies typical of Felsenreich. Expansive guitars, floating keyboards, and cool vocals weave through an album that looks back at the past and draws strength and encouragement from this retrospection. For reinforcement, Felsenreich once again brought musicians from the wave legend Escape With Romeo to the Highline Studio in Munich; drummer Frenzy Erl took over production duties again.
