This Mirror Weighs a Ton is the eighth studio album from Interpol and their debut for Partisan Records. Produced by Grammy and Oscar winner Andrew Wyatt (Rosalía, Charli xcx) and mixed by Dave Fridmann (MGMT, Sleater-Kinney). The album comes in a softpak sleeve with an 8-page lyric insert. On the album, synthesizers, strings, acoustic guitars, and layered vocal harmonies weave a new texture into the band's signature post-punk language—atmospheric, dark, with the unmistakable tension between restraint and intensity that has defined Interpol since Turn On The Bright Lights. At the center remains the creative partnership between Paul Banks, Daniel Kessler, and Sam Fogarino, which now spans nearly three decades.
