The Ghost Effect is a project born in Turin (Italy), or maybe in other parts of the world in autumn 2005 from the intuition of the three “founder members”: Laura (The Kewpie Doll), Davide (The King’s Hat) and Claudio (The Plastic Man). A long, hard work was made during the early years, 2006-2007-2008 only occasionally spaced out by some live music hither and thither, and finally the band decided that the right name was The Ghost Effect because we are all ghosts, a pale memory of ourselves lost forever in front of our TV sets like the photographic effect of the XIX century.Now that the hardest challenge has been completed the band suddenly realized that all the beat in the songs has been performed until now by an evil drum machine! So, especially because no one here likes and wears these strange, too-hectic armbands called “clocks” in 2009 a new real ghost drummer joined the band, Enrico (The Fading Nobleman).The dismantling fury of every mechanichal thing lead us now to re-assemble our musical instruments in unearthly devices unknown to human beings, maybe to create a new race that will rule the world…
