Hammershøi is a French Synth duo, named after the Danish painter Vilhelm Hammershøi and born out of confinement and human-machine communication.
Their musical style is based on music from the 80’s (Minimal Synth, EBM, New Wave, SynthWave) and some artistic influences such as German expressionism, word art, and painting.
The sound of this promising new group can easily be definied as cold, mechanical and catchy. Hammershøi represents the voices and thoughts of Anne and Ben, mixed and inseparable.
