The upcoming LEAVES’ EYES album contains 12 tracks of a special kind. Guitarist Tosso: ‘The tracks and the sound on ‘Njord’ are reflecting the development of our band during the last years. There are some straight, rocking and bombastic songs such as the single track ‘My Destiny’ but also some real epic-like, symphonic monster tunes. They all demonstrate the most intense and dense atmosphere ever heard from this band! We even included once again some Nordic-Folkloristic elements into our sound. We were supported by The Lingua Mortis Orchestra under the aegis of Victor Smolski and a classical choir. In my opinion, ‘Njord’ represents the most complete and elaborate album from LEAVES’ EYES.
