It’s music is powerful, yet intimate. Wistful, danceable, catchy synth
lines, Gregorian choirs, punky guitars, haunting arps and lyrics that really
have something to say. La Lune Noire reminds you of the new wave era,
but have created an authentic and modern industrial wave/synthpop
sound of their own.
In 2009 they released their debut album Nitrogen on their own label
Svinx Records. An album where cancer and loss of family and friends are
the main themes. In 2011 their second album Exster was released,
receiving very positive critics in magazines. The former studio band then
turned their eyes to the stage. Touring alternative festivals like W-Fest,
Summer Darkness, BLACK-OUT Festival and Dubhfest. Also supporting
bands like Clan of Xymox, Diary of Dreams and VNV Nation, the band
has now got a live show, which you don't want to miss.
The 3rd album Echoland was released in 2014. An album where the
band is trying to find out if there is life after death, or something in
between. More scary, more spooky, but still finding the right balance
between moody songs and uptempo EBM. Some very good press and
radio airplay for this album, followed by gigs in Belgium (W-Fest),
Germany, England and their homebase Holland.
