Mother Motor - Sleeping Dummies (CD)

Mother Motor is the most current project of the electronic music producer and label owner Harald Schoger (Dark Distant Spaces, Codename Sugar, AFO and many more).

On this 13 track-CD album "Sleeping Dummies" he managed to shift the borders of Electro Pop even further. Having worked with many artists on this release it's definitely unique style mix. From club targeted tracks like "Run Away" (feat. Allyne Eral) or "A Crush On Your Genes" (feat. Josee Belhumeur) over trance influenced pieces like "Vimana" there's a lot to explore. For tracks like "The Ending Cycle" (feat. Yuki Gerle + Dietmar Liehr) it would even be close to impossible to define a genre. Pushing hard on the dance floor is done by the EBM-Track "Give It Back!".

Also two of his good old friends from the other projects stood in for vocals on "Dumb" (feat. Marc Buchner) and "We Don't Know" (Veit Wiehler). It's remarkable that although this variety of electronic music styles got gathered on one and the same release there's still a shining bright thread that moves through all the tracks. But that's something to find out for yourself, however the album title "Sleeping Dummies" might help. In short: Electronic music for body & soul.
