Silentways is a darkwave trio, based in Naples, Italy that released a much regarded debut album - a mix of dark and ethereal dream pop - on Swiss Dark Nights in 2006, but sadly split shortly after.
Following a long gap of silence, the band recently re-united and presented both a new single (A Red Thread) and this their all new, 2nd album. ‘Aeon’ combines coldwave, postpunk, and dreampop influences creating melancholic soundscapes, where the heavenly voice of Annalisa Lynch dances on gothic-like guitar riffs, dreamy synths, and monolithic bass lines.
The ethereal and otherworldly atmospheres of the 2016 self-titled debut album has since evolved into a darker universe led by the cold and faster beats of a drum machine.
