STandART is a synthpop / darkwave band from Latvia, founded in 2002 in Latvian town Jelgava. After several MCDs, the band finally released its first full studio album "Australia" in autumn 2007. The album release was followed by "Australia Tour" across the Baltic States and Poland.
With the album "Australia" STandART were nominated for the Best Debut 2007 at Latvian Music Awards. Reviewers underline that although the musical direction of STandART is clear, the band creates a very special and unique sound, thus becoming one of the most interesting electronic acts from the Baltic region.
