After their first (digital) single release „Clear your Head“ in December 2019, including a breathtaking video, „HUMAN“ is now the full debut album of US based dark alternative / post-punk band White Mansion. The main body of the work comes from within, a slow burn into the tortured relationships, the longing, lust and erotic despair that comes from love and the loss of self. These themes are punctuated by stadium filling drums and rhythms, mournful and passionate guitars with Lush synthesized sounds that swell to silence. To be Human is to be translucent and this album is a description of what it's like to be wrestled from grace.
Based out of Fayetteville, Arkansas, White Mansion's music be best described as cinematic and intense with a unique sound, larger than life anthems conjuring images from Joy Division to Echo and the Bunnymen, Depeche Mode to My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and beyond.
