First ever 7” single by the German/Brazilian act – produced by JOHN FRYER (4AD records, This Mortal Coil, Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, Xmal Deutschland, Depeche Mode, NIN…). The band is composed by singer Anne Goldacker (ex-Obsyre) and Alex Twin (3 Cold Men / Individual Industry).
Wintry´s sound is clearly influenced by 80s 4AD style, mixing wave and gothic in an equal way. John Fryer personally chose the 2 tracks for this 7” single: The song “Ausweg”, the main track of the forthcoming second Wintery album and the b-side “Auch ohne Dich”. 2 songs that indeed recall a certain 4AD-period, reminding of both Xmal Deutschland and Clan of Xymox.
The Vinyl in black/yellow marble comes packaged inside a sturdy 7” sleeve, displaying wonderful artwork by Brazilian designer Hernan Czauski.
