YVONNE, Sweden’s best Joy Division incarnation and one of the 90’s largest small bands which, unlike Eskilstuna’s darlings Kent, were never widely accepted in their hometown – or anywhere else for that matter. You couldn’t remain neutral towards Yvonne – it was either love or hate when the singer Henric de la Cour wrapped the microphone cord around his neck and put his fingers in the power outlet.
Today the self-titled debut from 1995 is a cult classic, whose black-clad, white-faced cold wave straight from the diaphragm is released for the first time on vinyl.
