808 DOT POP - Maximalism

808 DOT POP is the solo project of Belgian electronic pop and vintage synth music producer Passenger S, known from METROLAND. With its companion album 'Minimalism' (the white album), this new conceptual release explores the architecture of the 20th century through soothing sequences, melodic electronics and carefully crafted minimalist structures. Passenger S guides the listener on a historical journey through Spain, Canada, Japan, Germany, the UK, France and Australia – through places shaped by the defining architectural movements of the 20th century, diving deep into the many isms of modern architecture. 'Maximalism' is the black album of the duo, where complexity and detail take centre stage alongside restraint – Belgian vintage synth pop for fans of KRAFTWERK, KOMPUTER, ORBITAL and similar artists.
