EBM, Harsh Electro and Middle Ages - is that allowed? In the then still meager social media and the music press, speculation about this mysterious, new electronic project shot up. Today, 16 years and a whole series of studio albums later, ‘Gotteskrieger’ stands out in its uniqueness and raw directness beyond this time. With this SPECIAL REMASTERED EDITION, HEIMATAERDE are giving this landmark a fresh look. In addition to the careful polishing of the original material, five selected tracks have been newly recorded and enable a comparison between the old, wild years of the EBM floors in the German Ruhr area and the current band sound.
